Bluesky thread publishing
Signal publishes Bluesky threads as a linked sequence of posts, recording the root permalink in publish history.
Last updated June 14, 2026
A Bluesky thread is published as multiple posts linked in reply order. Signal handles the sequence as one item, so a thread either publishes as a unit or surfaces a clear failure if a part is rejected.
Because the thread is one execution item, the same reliability guarantees apply: it's claimed once before publishing, and an interrupted thread surfaces as a stale claim for manual recovery rather than being re-posted blindly.
Good to know
- ·Posts publish in order, each replying to the previous.
- ·The root post's permalink is recorded in publish history.
- ·If a later post in the thread is rejected, the item is marked failed with the reason.
